Here is a collection of photos of some interesting creatures i have seen recently at Whites Hill Reserve. If anyone knows the exact species I’d love to know.
We’ve got a Water Dragon lounging on a palm tree above a stream, a spider, a moth, a bug, and a skink in a tree.
Cute little Ringo sketching in nature
This week, Ringo showed me where he liked to sketch at Whites Hill Reserve in Brisbane, and he even had a little tree stump table set up. How cute is he?!
Cute Tawny Frogmouth chick
Look who has popped up on my lunchtime walks in Whites Hill Reserve!! Isn’t he/she a cute little chick?
Brisbane Painting & Drawing Meetup Group, October, Sherwood Arboretum – post 1 of 2
Last weekend I attended Octobers Brisbane Painting and Drawing Meetup Group for some sketching at Sherwood Arboretum.
It was such a beautiful day. It took me about an hour just enjoying the moment without even touching pen to paper!
So I thought I would start with drawing the very cute Ringo the Ringtail Possum ready for his day of sketching, and then a magpie showed up so I drew them too!
I’ve got two more sketches and will post them tomorrow…

Ringo the Ringtail Possum at Stradbroke Island
A couple of weeks ago we had a day trip to Stradbroke Island and Ringo my cute little Ringtail Possum has just provided me his holiday selfie, so I thought Id share with you… isn’t he just the cutest?

70s Themed Housewarming Logo
A fortnight ago we had a little housewarming. So we have been living in Wynnum for a year now and the house was built in the 70s, so we decided to hold a 70s party to celebrate 🙂
So my task was to come up with a logo for our Facebook event page. So with our house in the background (front and back view) and with the party called Wynnumstock I took lots of inspiration from Woodstock imagery and logos throughout the years. And then to top if all I included my cute little Aussie wildlife characters Ringo the Ringtail Possum and Z the Sleepy Koala in their own 70s gear!! So what do you think?
What… you want to know what I looked like? Ok…
So this week I’ve been mostly working on the lounge floor on the rug!
Oops today I forgot my sketchbook! But I made sure I had some scrap paper and a pen as well as my camera phone.
Because you never know what cute little creatures you will come across in the bush. And today in Whites Hill Reserve in Brisbane was a Koala!
I was doing some long overdue filing today, oh joy! But then I came across my old cute koala folder to tidy everything into and it made it all better!
You can’t beat seeing a koala it really makes my day. So of course I have to quickly sketch it in my lunchtime.
