I’ve been seeing a little resident Tawny Frogmouth recently, and just wanted to capture how camouflaged he is with the same colouring as the tree. They are such gorgeous little chaps 🙂
We went to the people’s day at the Ekka on Wednesday. I really enjoying seeing the woodchop and the fancy chickens, so they are what appeared in my sketchbook and now on my blog with a bit of colour.
On our walk last weekend in Mount French near Boonah, there were loads of Grass Trees. I could just imagine them being used in a computer game Super Mario style where Ringo would have to jump from one to the other…

Last week at the Ekka it was the chickens that captured my inspiraion the most, and this fluffy one with a funky hairdo just had to be drawn!
