As soon as we entered Nowra Wildlife Park we saw the marmosets being fed. Because of my love for monkeys and these little guys were so cute I had to sketch one. So now I want a pet galah and marmoset!
Whilst sitting outside our tent I saw a very cute cockatoo nibbling on a branch which I could not help but draw..
For the Australia Day holiday, Hazel and I camped at Nowra Wildlife Park, which was absolutely fab! Out of all the animals in the Park, my heart fell for one little Galah as he followed me around his aviary and kept saying ‘ello’.
And then today at Tidbinbilla we sighted two owls. 🙂 I drew the quick sketch whilst observing their cuteness, and then coloured them in whne I got home with my new felt tip pens!
Last week at Tidbinbilla we came across a Southern Boobook Owl within the Sanctuary, so with it’s shape in my mind I made this image in my day off yesterday! Such a cute owl, I hope I get to see it again…
With my fascination of emus I could not resist creating this four panelled picture. The first panel is a cross with a long necked turtle, second is a Dali-esque long legged emu, and the last two panels are my imagination running away with me!
