On our way to the ski lift (or dry lift I suppose!) to take us half way up Mount Kosciuszko, we were following a couple in front of us which bemused me enough to draw them. He was of large built and keen to get to the ski lift and all he carried was a tiny little shoulder strap bag. She was of slight build but carried this enormous back pack – who knows what she needed to carry, that he didn’t!!
Below is my original sketch of them (on the right hand side of the page), well a few squiggly lines really, but I just wanted to show how these squiggly lines could eventually become my picture above!
On my sketch below I even wrote that the women was saying: “it’s for all my lipsticks” referring to the contents of her back pack!!
