The Great Oz Eddventure #91 – Kosciuszko National Park

We have just come back from a short stay at Kosciuszko National Park which is just a few hours drive out of Canberra.  This is where the ‘Australian Alps’ are and also Australia’s highest mountain Mount Kosciuszko.  The views, Snowy River, Snow Gums and the snow make it all great bush walking!
One walk we went on was called ‘Porcupine Rocks’ due to the rugged shaped of the granite tors at the end of the walk.  This soon made me start drawing the above cartoon image – replacing the American porcupine with the Australian echidna, and making him ‘rocking out’ near the granite tors.
