So I have finished another sketchbook, it seems to be one a quarter at this rate!  I have taken my favourite 12 sketches and I am going to split them into two posts again like last time, and this one is going to be dedicated to the koala sketches.

I love seeing koalas on my lunchtime walks through Whites Hill Reserve in Brisbane.

I am not sure if koalas are creatures of habit but I did notice a koala on exactly the same spot in the same tree on three separate occasions over the last couple of months, as can be seen in my sketches.

The first illustration I entitled ‘where’s koally’ like the Where’s Wally books as all I could see was a part of the koalas body.  And then on the last illustration I put the caption ‘Does my bum look big up here?’ as that was all I could see when I looked up haha!
